Today we took the monorail to Seattle Center. We ate lunch there, walked around The Center and enjoyed close up views of the Space Needle. With it being a rainy day and $18 for an adult ticket to ride up, we opted not to go to the top. We'll have to do that if we go back to Seattle on another trip. From The Center we walked down to Olympic Park. It was so cold, rainy and really windy (so much so that we couldn't use an umbrella), we were feeling a little miserable. So, we hoped on a bus to take us to Ballard (a district outside of downtown Seattle). We walked around a bit there, enjoyed a few cute stores, then hoped back on a bus to take us back to Seattle Center where we again caught the monorail to go back to the downtown area. That evening we went out for dinner to Rockbottom Brewery and made it an early evening.

Going back to the downtown area- we are ready to get out of the rain
Amazing shots of 5th Avenue just outside our hotel
View of 5th Avenue from our window. I was in shoppers heaven- just next door to Banana Republic, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, etc. Talk about a perfect location.
This is what happens when daddy tries to get Landon dressed
A dinner just the two of us- well, not exactly although Landon did stay asleep for most of dinner
Sonje trying the brewery's little beer samplers.
Riding one of mommy's magazine's before bedtime.
This was the cutest thing. We butted the second queen bed up to the wall of the hotel room and put our suitcases around Landon to keep him from falling off the bed. In only took him one night to realize we were just an eyeshot away. We turned off all the lights and were super quiet so he would go to sleep when all of a sudden a little head pumped up over the luggage. Landon knew we were just across the way on the other bed and he stretched his neck to peak over at us. It was so funny and cute. Little stinker.
