Seattle Trip

Sunday- Our plane left LAX at 7:00 in the am. That meant a VERY early morning for us. We got up at 4 to leave the house by 5am. Unfortunately Southwest doesn't fly nonstop to Seattle so we had a stop in Oakland but we didn't have to get off the plane. Once in Seattle we took the bus to our stop, Westlake Center. Not sure how we managed with ALLLLL our luggage. Traveling with a little one meant bringing a stroller, extra suitcase, etc. We somehow piled our stuff on the bus, total fiasco. Our hotel was in a perfect spot- in the heart of downtown Seattle with all the shops, restaurants, etc which was perfect since we were going to be walking everywhere. For our first day we went to Pike Place Market, the original Starbucks, saw the Seattle Library, went to mass at the beautiful St. James Cathedral, ate dinner at a local market (chicken tamales) and enjoyed the sites of the city. Giving Landon a chance to stretch out over the seats and play a bit during our stop in Oakland.
Landon's rain setup. Poor little guy was in his stroller behind plastic for most of the trip due to the rain.

At Pike Place Market. We enjoyed the fish throws, fresh fruit and the beautiful floral bouquets made from ornamental kale.

Having a Pumpkin Spice Latte at the original Starbucks.
