This is Landon's 1st Ash Wednesday. Obviously he is not expected to fast or abstain from meat (hence the pictures below where he is enjoying pieces of chicken deli meat). After lunch, Landon and I enjoyed a walk to our local park where he went "weeeeeeee" on the swings. Later that evening daddy came home from work and the three of us went to OLG in Redondo for Ash Wednesday mass. Landon, like normal, flirted with the women in church. He received his first ashes. Lent has officially begun.
